Secret 3 – Choosing the Right Team
In my years of experience I have come across people who join someone in a MLM program out of obligation. It may be their close relatives or good friends. But these people are not serious about the MLM business. The obvious result is that they will not last for long! If you are serious about building your future in the MLM business you got to carefully choose your upline leaders and organization. Hey, this is a business and you need to find a business partner who is serious about their own future and will be able to support and train you. Stop and think…seriously you are planning your future! Here are some of the things that you should take into account when choosing your sponsor and upline leaders: 1. The person whom you choose to be your sponsor must be committed to the MLM business. You can observe if he or she is excited about the business. You should be able to tell from your conservation with them whether they are serious and committed to the business. Are they prepared to do what it takes and do they have all the answers? 2. Support System. Do they belong to an active upline organization that is aggressive? Do they have a Support System in place that you can plug into and follow? They should have plenty of support tools and resources including:
(a) Power Point presentations We will cover more on the SYSTEM in later session.
3. Affiliations. Do they have training centers
or support in other parts of the country? If you intend to build a
worldwide business then having overseas affiliation is important.
4. Ethics and Concepts. I believe that there is
a right way and also a wrong way to operate a MLM business. The team must
adhere to proper concepts and ethics. In my years of experience I have
seen many distributors give up their business because of discouragement.
In some cases the uplines do not support them. Some uplines go to the
extent of pinching their downline prospects and organization.
5. Teamwork. The MLM business is a business of
teamwork. You cannot succeed on your own. You need to work as a team with
everyone helping and encouraging one another. The whole organization must
work as a team and adopt similar work
ethics and missions. This is why duplication is important to success. Cappuccino Story: Feed Each Other Upon his death a man was given a tour of both heaven and hell, so he could select his final destination. First he was taken to hell. He saw a lot of people sitting at a long banquet table loaded with all kinds of delicious food. However, he noticed that all of the people seated were unhappy, and looked frustrated. They each had a fork strapped to the left arm and a knife strapped to the right arm. Each had a four-foot handle which made it impossible for them to eat. With all kinds of food in front of them they were not able to taste any of it. After this scene in hell he was taken on a tour of heaven. He noticed that the people in heaven were also seated at a long banquet table loaded with all kinds of delicious food. There was a difference here because he noticed that the people here were cheerful and enjoying themselves. They also had forks and knives with a four-foot handle. They were busy eating because they were feeding each other. Each person in heaven was feeding the one across the table from him and was being fed in return. The people in hell were unable to eat because they were trying to feed only themselves. SUCCESS PRINCIPLES
In order to succeed in a big way we need help
from others. The only way to get help from others is to give help to
others. You can get everything you want in life if you will help enough
other people get what they want. Think about “giving” to
people and you will be rewarded many folds. The win-win mentality will
provide us with a better alternative to deal with others.
